India Care Desk is a healthcare coordination service that helps patients in emergencies, organise medical diagnostics, consultations, and treatment planning in India. The service assists with scheduling appointments, coordinating with patients and medical practitioners including doctors, dentists and hospitals, and planning medical visits.
Medical care itself is provided by independent hospitals and doctors in India.
India Care Desk follows a structured process to organise medical visits.
1. The patient chooses a solution and submits an intake form with basic contact information.
2. The request is reviewed and a coordination plan is prepared.
3. A membership quote and terms of service are issued.
4. Once accepted and the payment is executed a membership is activated.
India Care Desk then assists with coordinating hospital visits, consultations, and planning the patient’s trip to India, often in cities such as Mumbai.
India Care Desk uses three primary communication channels: WhatsApp, phone, and email. Each channel is used for specific types of communication to ensure fast and efficient support.
WhatsApp is the primary mode of communication once your membership is active. It is the fastest and most widely used method of communication in India, including within the medical environment. Members can send a message describing their issue along with the geographical area of India they are currently in. An automated response will then provide the most relevant options or guidance.
Phone calls are reserved for serious or emergency situations. These include circumstances such as accidents, stroke (cardiac or cerebral), or urgent neurological events where immediate coordination may be required. If the situation requires urgent attention, members can escalate the request by using specific “HOT WORDS” such as urgent or emergency.
Email is used primarily for formal communication. This includes membership-related correspondence, invoices, legal notices, and, in exceptional situations, the transmission of documents such as medical reports.
This structured approach helps ensure that urgent matters are handled quickly while administrative communication remains properly documented.

India Care Desk is designed for anyone who wishs to access emergency room, diagnostic testing, specialist consultations, or treatment planning in India.
Family members can also use the service on behalf of a relative who requires medical evaluation.
The most common queries that we solve are for example "I need to see a general practitioner" or "I fell off a bike and he an injured limb"
That said India Care Desk is capable of providing healthcare coordination and planning services, including:

India Care Desk does not provide medical treatment, medical advice, or emergency medical services.
Medical care is delivered directly by licensed doctors and hospitals. India Care Desk does not replace healthcare providers and does not make medical decisions.
Membership also does not include hospital charges, doctor consultation fees, diagnostic test fees, or insurance coverage. These costs are paid directly to the relevant medical providers by the consumer.
